What is the normal check-in & check-out time?
What is the minimum duration of the contract?
The accommodation contract is established, generally, by periods of 5 months according to the university calendar: 1 September to 31 January; 1 February to 30 June
If I enter the accommodation in the middle of a fortnight I must pay the whole fortnight?
The accommodation is ensured by fortnights. Therefore, even if the entry or exit of the resident occurs in the middle of a fortnight, the full payment of that fortnight is required
After booking a room could I cancel the reservation?
The resident can cancel it according to the following conditions:
Up to 60 days before the date of entry – the reservation fee, which corresponds to the payment of the first month will be refunded
Up to 30 days before the scheduled arrival date – 50% of the reservation fee, which is a monthly fee, will be refunded;
Less than 30 days after the entry / start of the contract, there is no refund of the reservation fee.
The Adm Fee cost never will be refund in case of booking cancel
Can change the room that I had Booked?
The request for change of rooms is possible considering the availability and the adjustment of the price difference between the rooms, the initial deposit being maintained until the end of the contract
Are visits allowed?
Visits are allowed in the daytime (working days) from 10 am to 10 pm. In the weekend it’s not alowed Visits. Visits that extend this period, including overnight stay, must be previously authorized and this service has a cost of € 30 per day, per person (limited to one person and not last more than 5 days)
Could I leave the accommodation before the end the contract?
The signed contract must be fulfilled; if the resident chooses to leave before the contract ending, for reasons not attributable to the SE – Students Experience, the contract remains valid, and it must be paid in full
Could we do parties in the accommodation?
Although this is a place to socialize we claim to have a calm environment, quiet rooms to rest and study, so meetings or parties, during the day or at night, will have to be authorized previously by SE – Students Experience with previous agreement of all residents
Between 11.00 p.m. and 7.00 a.m. noisy activities are forbidden in accordance with Portuguese law.
